ISSUANCE OF COMBINED LICENSES FOR TURKEY POINT UNITS 6 AND 7
Dear Mr. Nazar:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Commission) has issued Combined Licenses (COL)
Nos. NPF-104 and NPF-105 to Florida Power & Light Company for Turkey Point Units 6 and 7, respectively, pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 52.97, Issuance of combined licenses. These COLs were issued after receiving the report of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards dated September 16, 2016, and as authorized by the Commissions hearing decision dated April 5, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), Accession No. ML18095A117).
Enclosed are copies of COLs NPF-104 and NPF-105 (Enclosures 1 and 2, ADAMS Accession Nos. ML17088A329 and ML17088A330, respectively), including the Technical Specifications (Appendix A), the Environmental Protection Plan (Appendix B), and the Inspections, Tests, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria (Appendix C) for Turkey Point Units 6 and 7. Please note that Attachment 1 to Appendix C for COLs NPF-104 and NPF-105 contains security-related information and as such is withheld from public disclosure. A related notice will be sent to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
Also enclosed is Indemnity Agreement No. B-46, which covers the activities authorized under COLs NPF-104 and NPF-105 (Enclosure 3, ADAMS Accession No. ML18057B134).
