Reactor Building (Unit 1) Dome' Concrete Imperfections A meeting was held at the'Callaway site on March 5, 1981 to discuss the status of the' licensee's ongoing activities relative to the Unit I reactor building dome -concrete imperfection issue.
(Reference Open Item No.~483/80-30-01.) Those in attendance included NRC RIII and UE represen-
-tatives. Topics discussed during the meeting included the nondestructive concrete test program methodology, program implementation, and the status of the final report.
Following the meeting, a review was conductedL of pertinent nonconformance
' reports and nondestructive concrete testing results.
In process' concrete
- repair activ'ities on the dome were also observed.
During the March 6, 1981 exit-meeting, the RIII inspector stated that final
- resolution of this matter is dependent on the issuance _and subsequent NRC
= review of the; final report. The report is_ presently being prepared by
- Bechtel; Corporation (Gaithersburg Power Division) and its completion is tentatively-scheduled for April 1,1981.
' Exit Interview The inspector, met with staff representatives during and at the conclusion of:the inspection. The inspector summarized the scope of the inspection.
