Thank you for your letter (GNRO 97/00074) dated July 25,1997, confirming the commitment that annual sampling of fish will be re-instated as a part of the radiological environmental monitoring program. This commitment was made during our inspection of this area during June 2 6,1997.

We will continue to review the implementation of your radiological environmental monitoring program during future inspections'at your Grand Gulf Nuclear Station facility.
