Were the Steps Taken Adequate to Steps, have not been fully Correct the Problem and Prevent implemented yet.
However, those Future Violationt steps described in the licensee's response, should correct the problems.
Inspectors will verify prior to closing the violation.
Results Achieved:
For example I:
Hodifications made to the demineralizer skid to eliminate the venting and admission of resin to the floor drain.
Operations procedures were revised accordingly.
For example 2:
Voltmeter switch was replaced and tested with the correct voltage readings.
Additional Corrective Steps That Mill Be Taken:
Example 1:
A "Training Brief" will be distributed to plant management stressing the importance of proper adverse condition and corrective action implementation.
Example 2:
Procedures will be changed to require personnel to verify by signature that N&TE is free from deficiencies that may affect test performance.
A memo to this affect will be issued to plant personnel.
Training will be provided to plant engineering personnel on the specific switch incident, emphasizing the need to include compensatory actions in surveillance procedure when warranted.
