Vice President, Nuclear Operations P. O. Box 764 (167) Columbia, SC ~29218 Gentlemen: -SUBJECT: REPORT NO. 50-395/85-11 , Thank'you for your response of May 10, 1985, to our Notice of Violation issued on April 11,1985, concerning activities conducted at your Summer facility.
Your response was amended in a telephone conversation on May 29, 1985, with Messrs. A.
Koon and J. Connelly to' include the provision that the safety-related portion of measuring and test equipment out-of-tolerance evaluations will be completed within seven days. This will include the identification of equipment usage since the last calibration and the' analysis of the effect on plant safety. The balance of the r. port will then be completed within 90 days.
We have evaluated your amended response and -found that it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201.
We will examine the implementation of your corrective actions during future inspections.
