Inspection Su= nary Inspection on May 7-11, 1979 (Report No. 50-346/79-10)
Areas Inspected: Unannounced inspection regarding implementation of 10 CFR 73.55. Specifically, the inspection covered the f ollowing areas: security plan, security program audit, security organization, physical barriers - protected and vital areas, lighting, access control - identification, authorization and badging, access control
- search, access control - escorting, access control - vital areas, alarm stations, detection aids, assessment aids, cot:cunications, testing and maintenance, compensatory measures, power supply, response, locks, keys and combinations, and records and reports. The inspectors

also reviewed the licensee's corrective actions relative to items of noncompliance identified during the previous physical security inspection. The inspection involved 127 inspector-hours onsite

Three of the items are considered infractions and two are considered deficiencies. All items of noncompliance

are considered closed. An Immediate Action Letter was sent to the licensee on May 16, 1979, as a result of items of noncompliance identified in Paragraphs 4, 6 and 7.
