This letter re'fers to a routine safeguards inspection of your activities authorized by NRC License No. NPF-1 conducted by Mr. L. R. Norderhaug, of j
Region V on May 5 through June 4, 1987. This letter also refers to the
discussions of our preliminary inspection findings held by M. D. Schuster,
{
Chief of the Safeguards Section, Region V,-and the-inspector with Messrs. A.
Olmstead, J. Reid, M. C. Street, G. Zimmerman..J.' Sanders and other members of
their respective organizations on May 13,.1987.-

Areas examined during this inspection included activities related.to physical
. j protection as described in the enclosed inspection report. Within these areas,.the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and j
records, interviews with facility and contractor personnel, and observations i
by the inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of the findings of your safeguards and security measures are exempt from public. disclosure; therefore,.
the enclosed inspection report will not be placed in the Public Document Room and will receive limited distribution.
l We have determined that the enclosures so designated contain Safeguards Information and therefore are subject to the controls of 10 CFR 73.21.
