Safeguards Branch Inspection Summary:
Special Inspection on September 22-26, 1980, as a result of the termination of the Contract Guard Service contract and the placement of a contingency security organization onsite September 21, 1980 (Report No. 50-333/80-18)
Areas Inspected:
Special unannounced inspection by a regional based inspector and an NRC HQ observer of the licensee's Physical Security Program relative to the newly formed contingency security force organization and related Records and Reports.
The special inspection involved 22 inspector-hours onsite by one NRC inspector and one NRC HQ observer.
The special inspection was begun during an off shift period; 20 inspection hours were accomplished during off shift periods.
Followup of licensee action on previous items of noncompliance.
Results:
No items of noncompliance were observed in the two areas inspected.
