The inspectors also interviewed other licensee and contractor security personnel.
2.
Follow-uo on Regulatory Effectiveness Review Findings On Novemoer -2-6,1957, the NRC conducted a Regulatory Effectiveness Review (RER) at the MaineLYankee Atomic Power Station.
The report of the RER findings was transmitted to the licensee on December 9, 1937.
On January 29, 1953, the licensee responded to the RER findings outlining those actions already taken, and those actions to be taken, as aporopriate.
During this inspection, the inspectors reviewed the licensee's response and those actions taken to cate, and cetermined that the licensee's did not address, in all cases, the full extent of the RER Team's findings.
This was discussed with representatives of the licensee during this inspection and they acknowledged that their response required further information.
They cd,.mitted to supplement the January 29 response by May 16, 19S8.
