Concerning that matter, we have no further questions at this time, and will review your corrective action during a future inspection.

1) Letter. L. J. Callan (USNRC), to G. A. Trevors, dated October 29, 1987 2) Letter, G. A. Trevors (NPPD) to USNRC, dated April 28, 1987 The following information is provided in response to your Reference 1 request regarding the District's response to Inspection Report 50-298/87-01, Appendix A.
Nebraska Public Poker District is currently conducting additional psychological testing for each member of the CNS Security staff.
This testing is being performed in addition to the emotional stability check that is conducted at the time of employment in accordance with ANSI 18.17 and as stated in our Safeguards Plan.
The rdditional psychological testing, using the MMPI evaluation system, will be completed by DeceLber 10, 1987.
Regarding the information you requested about inadequate compensatory measures, we request an additional 45 days in which to respond.
This has been discussed with Mr.
L.
Yandell, NRC Region IV, in a telephone conversation on November 25, 1987.
