Thank you for your letter of April 25, 1986, in response to our letter dated April 1, 1986, transmitting NRC inspection report 50-298/86-05. We have reviewed your reply and find it responsive to the concerns raised in our inspection report. You have apparently determined the root causes for the
high turnover of health physics personnel and are attempting to correct the problem and established a goal for a comprehensive ALARA program in 1986. We will review program progress during future inspections.
