The inspector stated he had observed a Unit 2 containment ring girder concrete placencrt and had observed no deficiencies.

Responding to the inspector's question, the licensee stated that the building spray system tests had been conpleted, and the data sent to the licensee's engineering office for evaluation, following whic the conpleted test data would be sent to the Direccorate of Lice..;ing.

The inspector stated that the data should be sent to the Directorate of Licensing at an early date.

Administrative Procedure 1002, dated April ll, 1974, Revision 4, Section C-10 was revised to improve tagging procedure, and Para-graph 4.2, Page 12 was revised to designate switch positions.

The licensee's Project Engineer and quality assurance personnel had examined all relevant documentation and stated that no W-2 switches had been installed in any safety-related circuits.

Gas Filter Documentation

.

The inspector examined MSA Certificate of Compliance, Purchase No.

99469, signed by the vendor s Supervisor of Quality Control.

The 6-page tabulation included data on gas life test, wash test, ignition temperature test, and carbon tetrachloride test.

The tests were conducted from bby 7, 1968 through October 23, 1970 per Specifi-cation 1065.

The licensee's audit of the test results, dated April

22, 1974, was examined.

The audit included the statement "... gas life, wash, ignition temperature and carbon tetrachloride tests were conducted with results in accord with GAI B/M SM-7."

Foreign }bterial in Reactor Internals The inspector examined "Addendus. to Inspection Record B-9, IFI-115','

prepared by J. Renshaw, dated May 2, 1974 which documented the re-sults of the reactor internals foreign material investigation.

The report concluded that the foreign material (a 3/4-inch carbon steel nut) was "not a part of the systems, nor a component of the systems".

A detailed inspection of the entire reactor had been completed.

This item is resolved.

7.

Main Steam Penetration Pressure Line The inspector examined the installed main steam penetration pressure line f rom the manifold to valve PP-V-19.

Problem Repor t, GPU No.

915, dated April 30, 1974 was reviewed.

The work remaining - blank-ing the pressure line upstream of the pressure gage and valve PP-V-20 was detailed in the licensee's Work Authorization No. 493, MTX System No. 164, dated 1by 2, 1974, and referencing Drawing No. 302-206.

The Work Authorization was signed May 2, 1974 by the licensee's Shift Test Engineer.
