The reference material requested for this examination consisted only of the Simulator Malfunction Boo Based on the malfunction book, the chief examiner developed and outlined the scenarios in the regional offic A week prior to the administration of the simulator scenarios, the chief examiner visited the licensee's training center and utilized the facility's

  • reference material to document anticipated plant and candidate responses to the proposed malfunction Later in the day, tlie NRC and licensee training personnel dry-ran the scenarios to ensure proper simulator performance and validation of the examinatio Licensee personnel signed a pre-examination security agreement prior to dry-running the scenario.0 GENERIC ISSUES:

There were no operator candidate or simulator deficiencies noted during the performance of two simulator scenario.0 EXIT MEETING:

Appreciation was expressed for the cooperation and support of the licensee's training personnel who were involved in the examination development and administration as well as the two operations personnel that were used to complete a crew compliment in which to examine the retake candidat Based on the performance of two simulator scenarios, the NRC stated that the simulator performed well and that no generic deficiencies on the part of the candidate were observed.
