REPORT NOS. 50-250/86-25 AND 50-251/86-25 Thank you for your additional response of August 6, 1986, to our Notice. of Violation issued on June 20, 1986, concerning activities conducted at your Turkey Point facility.
We have evaluated your response and found that it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201.
We will examine the implementation of your corrective actions during future inspections.
With regard to your stated intention to justify the use of Class AA plant work orders in critical path applications while shutdown, we would like to discuss the methodology you intend to use to implement this practice prior to your actual implementation. It is important that we mutually agree that the methodology you implement is consistent with applicable industry standards.
Please contact the on-site resident inspectors' office when you are ready to discuss this matter.
