The area aw W aad during this inspection was limited to the program i
for centrol of special nuclear material. Within this area, the inspection consfated of selective exasinations of procedures s
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations
L by the inspector.

During this inspection, it was found that one of your activities appeared to be in violation of an AEC requirement. The item sad td @ e referemos to the pertinent requirement is listed in the enclosure to this letter. This letter constitutes a notice sent to you purseemt to the provisions of Section 2.201 of the AEC's " Rules of Practice", Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations.
Section 2.201 requires you to submit to this office within 20 days of your receipt of this notice, a written statement of
exp1mmation in reply, including: (1) steps which have been or

will be taken by you to correct the violation, and the results achieved; (2) steps which will be taken to avoid further i
violations; and (3) the date when full compliance will be
'
achieved.
l In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the AEC's " Rules of Practica",
Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of I
findings of your control and accounting procedures for safeguarding i
special nuclear materials and your facility security procedures are exmapt from disclosure; therefore, the enclosure to this letter, the inspection report, and your responso to this letter will not be placed in the Public Doctasent Room and will receive limited distri-bution.
