The attached Licensee Event Report 81-053/03L-0, " Appendix J Related Valves" is hereby submitted in accordance with Technical Specification ~6.9.B.2.b.

Leak Rate Testing performed in accordance with 10 CFR50, Appendix J, has identified that Torus Purges Exhaust Valves A0 5042 A&B are in need of repair. Leak Rate testing during this Refuel No. 5 Outage will identify other valves which fail their Leak Rate testing. A followup report enumer-ating each valve (I.D., Type, Leak Rate, Test Date) for which a maintenance request is initiated as a result of this testing will be issued following the completion of the current refueling outage.
