The attached Licensee Event Report 80-032/01T-0, "Drywell Temperature", is hereby submitted in accordance with the requirements of Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station Technical Specification 6.9.B.1.

This report was not submitted earlier because it was believed that the original assumptions were invalid in that a saturated reference leg was used to determine setpoints instead of a sub-cooled reference leg. On Sept. 22, 1980 af ter discussions with resident NRC Inspectors a d Plant Support Group personnel it was learned that sub-cooled conditions were used in the calculations.
