RE: MEETING WITH FERC CONCERNING OCONEEJeff,Meeting went very well. FERC reps seemed to think Duke may be stretching the intent of the PFMA to saythat certain failure modes are non-credible, although they did seem to convey a sense that Jocassee is indeedbetter than your average dam. They were supportive of the notion that it would be reasonable for Duke toperform sensitivity studies on the effects of varying breach parameters on flood heights at the site. Theyprovided a lot of good technical info for Goutam, Raman, and Ken to chew on before Thursday.

We'll begetting together this afternoon to discuss how to approach the Thursday Duke meeting in light of yesterday's discussions.
