8.1.6Themajorityoftheoff-shift trainingwillbeconducted bytheTrainingDepartment Staff.Wherethespecialized knowledge ofanindividual outsidethetrainingorganization isavailable ordesirable, thisindividual mayconductthesession.8.1.7TheTrainingDepartment Staffshallparticipate inanysimulator trainingwhichisconducted aspartofthisprogram.8.2On-ShiftTrainin8.2.1ControlHaniulationsAlllicensees, withinthecycleindicated, shall,wherepossible, performordirecttheactivities listedontheControlifanipulations Logs(Figures2and3)~Thesemanipulations maybeperformed eitherontheplantorasimulator.

Whenactualperformance ofcertainmanipulations isnotpossible, oralexaminations shallbeadministered inaccordance withstep8.3.3~Thosemanipulations indicated byanasterisk(*)on'thelogshallbeperformed eitherontheplantorasimulator.
