Dear Mr. Collins:
Enclosed is a revision dated August 1, 1980, to St. Lucie Plant Administrative Procedure
- 0005720, Licensed Operator Requalification Program.
This proposed revision is submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54 (i-l), and is intended to implement the requirements of Mr. Harold R. Denton's letter of March 28, 1980, concerning Qualifications of Reactor Operators.
Xn order to be in compliance with the requirements of Mr. Denton's letter, we will begin conducting our program in accordance with this revision while awaiting your approval.
The requirement that all facility instructors who teach systems be Senior Reactor Operator qualified can not be met at this time.
Any instruction given by non licensed pesonnel shall be closely monitored and supervised by a member of the Training Staff who holds a Senior Reactor Operator's license.
