Extension of Comment Period for the Exelon Generation Company, LLC License Transfer Application

Dear Barbara J. Warren,

On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC, the Commission), I am responding to your letter dated May 24, 2021, addressed to the Secretary of the Commission regarding the license transfer application filed by Exelon Generation Company, LLC on February 25, 2021.

Your letter requests an extension of the comment period on the proposed license transfer.

The NRC has decided to extend the public comment period by 3 weeks to allow more time for members of the public to develop and submit their comments. Comments should be filed no later than June 23, 2021. Comments received after this date will be considered, if it is practical to do so, but the Commission is able to ensure consideration only for comments received on or before this date. The Notice of this extension is scheduled to be published on June 2, 2021 (see Docket ID: NRC-2021-0099 in Regulations.gov).
