The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is forwarding the enclosed notice of consideration of issuance of amendment to construction permit, opportunity to request a hearing, and order imposing procedures for document access to Sensitive Unclassified Non-Safeguards Information to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.

The notice relates to SHINEs application dated April 29, 2021, in which SHINE requested to amend its Construction Permit No. CPMIF-001 for its Medical Isotope Production Facility. The proposed amendment would allow the receipt and possession of certain radioactive materials necessary for the continued construction of the SHINE Medical Isotope Production Facility.
