OF MAY 11, 2022, MEETING WITH SHINE MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES, LLC (EPID NO. L-2019-NEW-0004)

On May 11, 2022, an Observation public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and representatives of SHINE Medical Technologies, LLC (SHINE). The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the development of SHINE's cybersecurity program for its Medical Isotope Production Facility. The meeting notice and agenda, dated March 28, 2022, are available in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML22122A035. SHINEs presentation is also available in ADAMS (ML22166A044). A list of meeting attendees is provided as an enclosure to this summary.

During the meeting, SHINE presented on its cybersecurity program. This discussion included information related to the identification and documentation of critical digital assets. SHINE also discussed the status of the development of the cybersecurity program. Throughout the meeting, the NRC staff asked clarifying questions to better understand SHINEs approach to cybersecurity.
