SUMMARY

OF MEETING ON ANO-1 INSERVICE TESTING (IST) PROGRAM On November 17 and 18, a meeting was held at ANO-1 to discuss the licensee's IST program. Attendees included representatives from EG&G Idaho as well as from the licensee's and NRC staff. A list of attendees is included in Enclosure 1.

The IST program had been submitted to the staff on February 20, 1985. It had undergone an initial review and questions that were generated were sent to the licensee in June 1987. The licensee was requested to prepare draft nswers which were to be used as the basis for discussions with the staff. During the November meeting, each question was discussed, clarified if necessary, and a response noted. The discussions which are documented in Enclosure 2, resulted in 13 Open Items for the licensee and 6 Open Items for the staff.

As a result of the discussions, it was agreed that the licensee would resubmit 4ts IST program. During a telephone call on December 3, 1987, it was agreed that the licensee would resubmit the IST program in May 1988 pending closure of the staff open items by January 1, 1988.
