Meeting to Discuss a Previous Violation
On September 8, 1988, representatives of Arkansas Power & Light, met with
Region IV personnel in Arlingten, Texas, to discuss issues relative to a
previous violation in the area of contingency response. The meeting was held
at the request of Arkansas Power & Light.
Licensee representatives expressed their basis for the denial of a violation
'in Inspection Report 50-313/86-34 and asked clarifying questions of the NRC as
to the basis and criteria for the violation.
It was concluded that no new
requirements were being imposed but a requirement already in place.
