APPLICANTS AMENDMENT TO PROPOSED FINDINGS The Applicants' hereby amend their proposed findings previously filed herein as follows:
- 1. In Paraaraoh No. 48, delete: "other than electrical equpment supplied by the Nuclear Steam Supply System vendor
('NSSS Electrical Equipment'))" and at the end of the paragraph add the citation " App. Dir. Post Tr. 357 at 5."
> 2. In Paraaraoh No. 49, delete: "(other than NSSS Electrical Equpment)" and at the end of the paragraph add the citation " App. Dir. Post Tr. 357 at 5."
- 3. In Paraaraoh No. 54, in the citation to the quote change " July 21" to " September 15."
- 4. In Paraaraoh No. 74, delete the last sentance.
The reason for the first two amendments is that the 8612010340 861125 PDR ADOCK 05000443 G PDR
's s
initial filing tracked the testimony at the August 1983 hearings at which time the NSSS Electrical equipment was to be qualified in a separate program outlined in the FSAR. Since that time this equipment.has been qualified and treated as part of the overall Seabrook program and to the same general standard as the balance of the plant. This is why the later testimony in the 1986 hearings made no exception for the NSSS Electrical Equipment as appears from the testimony appearing at the additional cited page.
The amendment to Paragraph 54 is necessary because of ,
an error in the original citation.
The amendment to Paragraph 73 is necessitated because since the filing of the proposed findings, Unit 2 has been officially cancelled.
Respectfully submitted,
/ \ .
