REGION 11 SUPPORT FOR THE SHOREHAM AND EXERCISES Per your memorandum of April 27, 1988, Region 11 wlil provide the personnel resources requested to support the Shoreham and emergency response exercises. The individuals we have designated to participate are as follows:

Shoreham Exercise June 7-9, 1988 Anne Boland Wilitam Gloersen l

All three of these indisiduals have had extensive experience in evaluating ,,

l emergency response exercises, insnecting emergency preparedness programs, reviewing licensee response plans, and playing as participants in NRC response exercises. James Kreh and Alphonsa Gooden were also inv61ved in the 1986  !

Shoreham exercise. Therefore, the above listed designees meet the i 1

qualifications set forth by your staf f for participation in these two exercises.

I 25 Days FEKA and HRC Regions develop May 13 specific post-exercise act-ivity schedule for debrief-ings and meetings with the State.

14 Days The RAC Chair (and NRC team May 24 leader as available) develops evaluator action plan (where stationed, how many from each organization, what to look for) .

The product of this will be the exercise evaluator packet which includes the specific evaluation location assignment. The packet should provide:

o portions of the plan applicable to their assignment; o A list of all exercise evaluators and their assignments; o A time-line of events; o Scenario technical data as required for those assigned; o Past exercise findings;  ;

o Applicable controller messages; o Applicable reference I materials; 1 l

o Logistic information and  !
