Tha total suspended solids were back within the daily maximum limit conditions on August 23, 1984. ,-

i .

The total suspended solids at the sample point for Outfall 002 appear to have '

, increased due to higher than normal windspeeds and rainfall prior to the sampl-I ing time. On the evening of August 18, 1984 rainfall of 0.35 inches occurred j at Davis-Besse. The windspeeds at the 10-meter level on the meteorological tower averaged 16.5 miles per hour for the 24 hours2.777778e-4 days
0.00667 hours
3.968254e-5 weeks
9.132e-6 months
prior to the sample time.

In contrast, the windspeeds at the Davis-Besse site usually average 9.0 miles j per hour over the year at this 10-meter above ground monitoring level. '
