ROCKLAND COUNTY MOTION IN RESPONSE TO ATOMIC SAFETY AND LICENSING BOARD MEMORANDUM AND ORDER - 1982.

The County of Rockland, as an Interested State, hereby requests that the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board modify its Memorandum and Order of October 1, 1982 to permit-Rockland County l to continue with-its presentation of witnesses regarding l

l Commission questions No. 3 and No. 4 prior to proceeding to take evidence on Commission questions Nos. 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7.

Prior to the suspension of hearings, Rockland County had presented the majority of-its witnesses and had the: remaining witnesses prepared and standing by ready to testify. In terms of logical continuance of the hearings, and in terms of-the time

_- it may take the Commission to begin hearings on questions Nos. 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7, the request of Rockland County would clearly represent little or no interruption with the remainde'r of the Case.

WHEREFORE, the County of Rockland prays for an Order granting the herein requested relief, and such other and further
