June 4, 1982 MOTION BY THE NEW YORK STATE ENERGY OFFICE TO AMEND SERVICE LIST l

The New York State Energy Office, an interested State in the above captioned proceeding, moves for an Order which would add to the Minimal Service List established by the Board's Memorandum and Order of January 27, 1982, the following individual:

Donald Davidoff Director, Radiological Emergency Preparedness Group Empire State Plaza Tower Building, RM 1750 Albany, New York 12237 The State Energy Office has been receiving, reproducing and distributing the numerous documentr., served to date on the Energy Of fice to a number of State agencies who have an interest in this proceeding, including the State's Radiological Emergency Preparedness Group which has been actively involved in this proceeding.

. . While we have been endeavoring to timely provide all received documents to Mr. Davidoff, the Director of the Radiological Emergency Preparedness Group, the time required to reproduce documents and transmit them to Mr. Davidoff has c+2bstantially reduced the time available for him to review and respond to papers which are relevant to his agency.

Since the majority of issues involved in this proceeding relate to emergency planning, we believe it would significantly improve the State's ability to participate and timely respond to emergency planning issues if Mr. Davidoff were separately served with all documents.

The addition of Mr. Davidoff to the service list would not be burdensome to any party, since multiple copies of each document are already being prepared and served by each party. Moreover, we note that many parties on the Minimal Service List have more than one representative listed for service.

WHEREFORE, the State Energy Office respectfully moves this Board for an Order adding Mr. Davidoff's name to the Minimal wNice List.

Respectfully submitted, I o
