Dear Mr. Eisenhut,

! We need action! There's a* acuopoly (Flcrida Power Corp. )' out of Federal. control here (Florida ). , The Public Service Commission, which has the task of regulating power corporation.monopclies, has done virtually nothing to stop the rolling, growing snowball of electricity rates from erushing customers. My parents, who receive FPC electricity, are'right in the middle of this monolith's path. I deh't wish to see them crushed up. der its weight. They've done one hell of a job conserving energy and Weir reward has been" money taken from their pockets. FPC's customers paid for the plant hy.Juring their rates increased, now customers have to pay for FPC inco=petence. Customers did their part by supplying the necessary =oney to build a working nuclear plant. FFC thus acquired the respcasibility of choosing a suitable design, selecting a competent construction company and hiring rightly qualified personnel.to run the plant. But they refused then and they are still refusing now to accept responsibility. The Crystal N plant goes down often. Why? Faulty design? Faulty construction? Faulty proceetre? Taks your choice because in the end the customer pays for events he/she is not responsible for. How much more should FPC customers have to give of themselves just because a few 4=*pt executives didn't take the ti=e or effort to make accurate plans? I know many laws and regulations have been created to control monopolies (the Sherman Anti-Trust Act for example ). Perhapo this one or others like it could be brought into action against FPC. Dammit---some-thing needs to be done and I guarsataa you that if you don't look. into this matter I'll keep writing to you and to anyone else who can read! 8104080 W /s J "'S 2012'3 , 2  ;
