RE: Surry status Terry, Randy and Joe-I am almost finished with the recon for Surry. Attached is the first of three files for Surry. Because the files are very large I have broken them into 3 pieces. The first is for the region south of the James River. In general there is a lot more to look at in this area relative to Peach Bottom. In particular on the north side of the river

  • there are lots of roads, bridges, overpasses etc. A number of these overpasses could fail, however it may be that for some of them alternative routes (even on/off ramps) could be utilized as alternatives.

I have focused on the main transportation arteries and not looked much at the large number of streets and roads in and around Williamsburg. Also, I have not really looked at anything within the Yorktown Naval Weapons station or on Fort Eustis. Both are within the 10-mile radius but the flow of the general populace will not be within these areas.

I will send more in a little while.

Surry status Hi Jon, Thanks for all your excellent work on the Peach Bottom seismic bridge analysis. How's it going for Surry. Do you think you'll be able to provide the SNL guys something by COB today?
