Request for NRC Scope and Personnel additions to the Surry Turbine Bldg. Wind Load LAR electronic audit plan
- Gary, I am writing to request that the Surry Turbine Bldg. Wind Load LAR electronic audit plan (ML22250A467) be amended with the following additions.
Please confirm receipt and if you have any comments or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
3.0 SCOPE The audit team will view the documentation and calculations that provide the technical support for the LAR.
The scope of the NRC staffs audit will focus on the following subjects:
- 1. Procedures governing the safe shutdown of the plant after a tornado, including a potential roof collapse scenario.
- 2. Availability of equipment required to achieve and maintain safe shutdown conditions after a potential roof collapse scenario.
- 3. Qualitative or quantitative risk insights based on the evaluation of a potential roof collapse scenario and their impact on the application.
