Dear Administrative Judges:

Pursuant to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Boards (Board) Memorandum and Order dated June 15, 2011 (Order) and Order (Granting Motion for Modification of Initial Scheduling Order) dated November 2, 2011, the staff of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Staff) notes that the Safety Evaluation Report (SER) with open items was published July 31, 2012 and the Staff is currently expecting to publish the SER in July 2013. The Staff has revised the environmental review schedule for the Davs-Besse license renewal application. The Staff currently anticipates publication of the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (DSEIS) in July 2013 and the Final SEIS in March 2014.
