Dear Administrative Judges:

Pursuant to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Boards (Board) Memorandum and Order dated June 15, 2011 (Order) and Order (Granting Motion for Modification of Initial Scheduling Order) dated November 2, 2011, the staff of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Staff) notes that the Safety Evaluation Report (SER) with open items was published July 31, 2012. The Staff published the SER on September 3, 2013. As Intervenors noted in their April 21, 2014 filing, the Staff issued a request for additional information (RAI) on April 15, 2014.1 The Staff published the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (DSEIS) in February 2014.

Currently, the Staff anticipates publishing the Final SEIS in September 2014.
