Dear Ms. Vietti-Cook,

On April 26, 2019, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company and FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation, LLC (together the Applicants) submitted a license transfer application for the above-listed nuclear facilities, in order to obtain NRC approval of restructuring transactions in connection with implementation of a plan of reorganization.1 The NRC approved the Applicants license transfer application, as supplemented, by order dated December 2, 2019.

This notice is to inform the Commission that on February 27, 2020, in accordance with the NRCs order approving the Applicants license transfer application,2 the Applicants implemented the plan of reorganization as amended and emerged from bankruptcy.
