SONGS jcizte,

Dear NRC Chairman,

The decision by Atomic Safety and Licensing Board is exactly what the people of California have been calling for these many months. We want to express our gratitude for this decision, and at the same time, let you know what we expect to happen as this process moves forward.

1. No reversal of this decision by the five NRC Commissioners. That would be seen as a breach of your oath of office and your motto "protecting people and the environment"
2. For this adjudicated public hearing under oath to happen here in Southern California.
3. Clarity and transparency in this process.

Hoping to work through this process with the NRC for a safer future for all Californians, especially our children.

Sincerely, Marilyn Wigglesworth 1

Decommission San Onofre

Dear Commissioners,

As a registered Civil Engineer, yesterday's decision by Atomic Safety and Licensing Board is exactly what I had hoped for.

Thank you for this decision. The people of California have been calling for this for many months. Hopefully, as this process moves forward, this adjudicated public hearing, under oath, happens here in Southern California with a clear and transparent process. Most importantly, I hope that there is no reversal of this decision by the five NRC Commissioners.

That would be seen as a breach of your oath of office and your motto "protecting people and the environment".

I hope to work through this process with the NRC for a safer future for all Californians, especially our children.

Sincerely, J6san Feathers, P.E.

May 6, 2013 Chairman Allison M. Macfarlane U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Mail Stop O-16G4 Washington, DC 20555-0001 Re: San Onofre Nuclear Reactor

Dear Chairman Macfarlane:

I urge you to please:

Do not allow lowering of San Onofre safety standards Do not allow restart of defective San Onofre nuclear reactors Require a thorough license amendment process and hearing on San Onofre safety issues Thiese aide vital to maintaining and improving the overall well being of ourselves and our children, communities and our planet. The health consequences if these aren't implemented would be devastating.
