Dear Sir:

On January 15, 1979 I wrote to you concerning anti-trust review concerning ownership by Maine Public Service Company (MPS) of a share of NEP Units 1 & 2.

In that letter, I stated that MPS underwent successful anti-trust review by the Department of Justice in connection with the Millstone Station, Unit No. 3. This information was ob'sined from the Attorney General's latter to NRC dated December 19,197c with respect to Seabrook Station.

Iloweve r , the Attorney General's letter of December 29, 1978, indi-cates that his December 19 letter was inaccurate in this respect.

Thus, we merely wish to point out that the first sentence of the second paragraph of my letter of January 15 was similarly inaccurate.

Very truly yours, Joseph Harrington Proj ect Manager JH:rh cc: MMWEC MPS
