Dear Dr. Cota:
In response to your recent notification to us of the NRC's decisior. to place on hold its review of the NEP 1 and 2 application for construction of a nuclear power plant in Charlestown, Rhode Island, we hereby inform you of our suspension of efforts on our responsibilities in the decision-making process on this application under the Second Memorandum of Understanding between the NRC and EPA.
Specifically, we are suspending our efforts on review of the draf t environmental state:nent and NEPCO's application for an NPDES permit.
