FORTHCOMING MEETING WITH TENNESSE VALLEY AUTHORITY, WATTS BAR NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNIT 1 DATE & TIME: Thursday, December 10, 2009 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room O-6B2 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: The purpose of this pre-application meeting is to discuss Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) plans regarding future amendment requests for tritium producing burnable absorber rods at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Unit 1. CATEGORY 1*: This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one opportunity to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned. Certain portions of this meeting will be closed to the public because Safeguards or Sensitive Homeland Security Information will be discussed during the meeting.
