In order to close the IRs discussed above, the RPS system must have the ADAMS accession number (ML number) for the IRs. (The system is designed to prevent closing an IR without this number) Therefore, these IRs cannot be closed in RPS because the reports were not issued.
After consulting with DRMA, it was decided that by this memo, which can be placed into ADAMS, the IRs can be closed. We would simply close the IRs using the ML number assigned to this memo. This would provide both the information necessary to close the IRs and an explanation that would be sufficient for future audit purposes.
