Purpose:

The purpose of this virtual meeting between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is to discuss a potential license amendment request to credit steam generator tube locking as a basis for reducing tube burst probability. This meeting is a follow-on meeting to the one conducted on August 19, 2021. The NRC staff previously determined that the materials to be discussed during the meeting on August 19th are proprietary (see ADAMS Accession No. ML21223A279).

Because this is a continuation of the August 19th meeting and the materials are the same, the proprietary determination also applies to this meeting.
