Meeting with Tennessee Valley Authority to Discuss Proposed License Amendment Request for the Browns Ferry, Sequoyah, and Watts Bar Nuclear Plants Date(s) and Time(s): June 26, 2023, 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM ET Location: Webinar Category: This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose of the meeting between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is to discuss a proposed license amendment request for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1, 2, and 3, Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, and Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, to transition the TVA fleet Nuclear Quality Assurance Plan to ASME NQA-1-2015, "Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications."
