DPR-75 DOCKET NO. 50-311 UNIT NO. 2 October 5, 1988 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION SURVEILLANCE PROMPT NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENT 4.4.6.4.B, TABLE 4.2-2 On October 5, 1988, eddy current examination of No. 24 Steam Generator (S/G) revealed twenty (20) defective tubes of 204 inspected in Row 1. The tubes showed indications of single or multiple circumferential cracking in the tangent area. As per Technical Specification Surveillance 4.4.6.2 this places the S/G in category C-3. This notification is being made as required by Technical Specification Table 4.2-2 prompt notification (i.e., C-3 categorization) to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.1.8.
