0 e e VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY RICHMOND, VIRGINIA 2~261 May 31, 1991 United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attention:

Document Control Desk Washington, D. C. 20555 Gentlemen:

VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY SURRY POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 Serial No. 90-195A NO/ETS Docket Nos. 50-280 *50-281 License Nos. DPR-32 DPR-37 CORRECTED PAGES FOR ENGINEERED SAFEGUARDS ACTION INSTRUMENT OPERABILITY AND SURVEILLANCE REQUIREMENTS PROPOSED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE Pursuant to 1 O CFR 50.90, the Virginia Electric and Power Company requested amendments, in the form of changes to the Technical Specifications, to Operating Licenses No. DPR-32 and DPR-37 for the Surry Power Station Units 1 and 2 respectively on November 8, 1990. Since this Technical Specification change request was submitted to your office, Amendment Nos. 155 and 154 for Units 1 and 2, respectively, were issued. This amendment affected the page number of several pages of the proposed change request. In addition, a typographical error was identified in Table 3.7-2, page 3.7-14. The corrected pages with the instructions for replacement are included as an attachment to this letter. The original request was reviewed and approved by the Station Nuclear Safety and Operating Committee.

It was determined that the proposed changes do not involve a significant hazards consideration as defined in 1 O CFR 50.92. The renumbering of the pages and the typographical error have not changed the basis for our no significant hazards consideration determination.

Thus the significant hazards consideration determination presented with the original request remains valid. Attachment cc: U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region II 101 Marietta Street, N. W.
