November 25, 2014 In the Matter of FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Co. (Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1) Docket No. 50-346-LR

Dear Administrative Judges:

Pursuant to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board's ("Board") Memorandum and Order dated June 15, 2011 ("Order") and Order (Granting Motion for Modification of Initial Scheduling Order) dated November 2, 2011, the staff of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission ("Staff") notes that the Safety Evaluation Report ("SER") with open items was published July 31, 2012. The Staff published the SER on September 3, 2013. The Staff published the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement ("DSEIS") in February 2014. The Staff anticipates publishing the Final SEIS in late December 2014 or early January 2015.
