) 50-401 (Shearon Harris Nuclear Power -) 50-402 Plant, Units 1, 2, 3 and 4) ) 50-403 APPLICANT'S REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF TIME In view of the extensive testimony and massive documents filed by the Staff on the issue of Applicant's management capa bilities to construct and operate the Harris plant, and taking into account (1) the disruptions normally associated with the Christmas and New Year holidays and year-end vacation schedules and (2) the fact that virtually all of Applicant's senior man-agement personnel will be at a meeting away from Raleigh, N.C.

during the first week in January and not available for review of final testimony, Applicant respectfully requests that the time for filing of Applicant's testimony be extended to January 16, 1978.

Applicant's counsel has been advised that counsel for the NRC Staff, the Intervenor and the State of North Carolina have no objection to this request.
