This letter serves to notify you and your staff that the 201 7 Operator Licensing Workshop sponsored by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Region III Division of Reactor Safety, Operations Branch, will be held at the Sheraton Hotel, Coltrane Room, located at 3000 Warrenville Road, Lisle, Illinois 60532, on October 3 and 4, 2017. This meeting is categorized as a Public Meeting. This Workshop will focus on topics related to Operator Licensing activities, including an overview of Revision 11 of NUREG

-1021, "Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors," Initial License Examination Quality, Requalification Issues and Perspectives, NRC Administrative Issues and Perspectives, and the NRC's Operator Digital Docket system. Members of your operations
