RE: Nine Mile Point Unit 1 Docket'No. SO=220 Your letter of October 26, 1973 requested that detailed heatup calculations be, extended to higher burnups. Tabulated below are the computer calculated points for the maximum average planar lineal heat generation rates at 2S,OOO MI'ID/T for fuel'tilized in Nine Mile Point Unit 1:

initial Core (Figure 4-9B4) 10.6 kw/ft Reload 1 (Figure 4-9B1) 10.1 kw/ft Reload 2 (Figure 4-9B2) 10.1 kw/ft Reload 3 (Figure 4-9B3) 10.3 kw/ft As these data are the same as shown on Figures 4-9B1 to 4-9B4 in NEDN-10735, Supplements 6, 7 and 8, no xevision is required to the "II" curves at extended exposures.
