LER 272/98-007-00 SALEM GENERATING STATION - UNIT 1 FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. DPR-70 DOCKET NO. 50-272 By letter dated March 20, 1998 (Ref. N980127), Public Service Electric and Gas submitted a Licensee Event Report (LER) entitled "Failure to Establish Containment Closure Prior to Fuel Movement." The March 20 letter incorrectly identified the LER number as LER 311/98-007-00 instead of LER 272/98-007-00. The Facility Operating License and Docket numbers, as well as the LER itself correctly identified the applicable facility. This letter with the original LER is being submitted to correct this administrative oversight.
